Description

The N?8 model has a unique design that is intended to improve the tonal qualities of the Double bass. It is made from high-quality maple wood, which is carefully selected for its strength and density. The bridge has a distinctive shape with a curved top surface, which allows for better transfer of vibrations from the strings to the body of the Double bass. The asymmetrical shape of the bridge is intended to balance the tension of the strings and improve the response of the Double bass.

bogo workshop Double bass bridges are designed to improve tonal quality, projection, and response for a more enjoyable playing and listening experience. Please note that our bridges are sold blank and require adjustment.

Our Double bass bridges can be delivered in two forms:

• Blank – Our blank Double bass bridges require further processing by a professional Luthier. Each bridge must be thinned out and expertly carved to fit the individual Double bass, ensuring the best possible sound and playability..
• Blank thinned – For added convenience, we offer our blank thinned Double bass bridges tinned to a standard thickness depending on your instrument size. However, like our blank bridges, they still require further processing by a professional Luthier to be expertly carved and fitted to your individual Double bass. An extra fee of 5 euro applies.

  Service is possible without presence of your instrument. Precondition for this service is that you posses old bridge that fits onto your Double bass body without space between.
